Baldwin was Box-Toppers’ choice for NL Rookie of the Year. While his 6.5 Box-Toppers points for the season trailed pitchers Cade Horton (9.7) and Nolan McLean (7.7), Box-Toppers doubles batter point totals for award comparisons to ensure they remain competitive with pitchers. This gave Baldwin an adjusted total of 13.0.

Drake Baldwin of the Braves, Box-Toppers’ choice for 2025 National League Rookie of the Year, was also voted winner of the honor by baseball writers Monday.
But Nick Kurtz of the Athletics, who won the American League Rookie of Year Award, was fourth among Box-Toppers’ top five choices for top AL rookie. Athletics pitcher Jacob Lopez, Box-Toppers’ choice for top AL rookie, received no votes from baseball writers in Monday’s balloting.

The current 2025 roster of last year’s World Series champion Dodgers accumulated 118.7 Box-Toppers points in 2024, most of any team. However, with several players injured and expected to miss time in 2025, their injury-adjusted Box-Toppers point total drops to 106.7, fifth among all teams.
