Ohtani has earned 40.8 Box-Toppers points over 2021 and 2022. He ranked second among all players in 2021 with 24.7 Box-Toppers points and 12th among all players in 2021 with 16.1 points. Ohtani ranked second among American League pitchers in 2022 and third among AL pitchers in 2021.
Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias ranked second overall and first among National League players with 38.5 Box-Toppers points over 2021-22. In 2021, Urias ranked fourth overall with 19.1 points (third among NL pitchers) and in 2022, he ranked seventh overall with 19.4 points (fourth among NL pitchers).
The 2021 leader in Box-Toppers points, Max Scherzer, who was then with the Dodgers, finishes sixth overall over the past two seasons with 35.1 points, fourth among NL pitchers.
