Four Box-Toppers points leaders among players named to 2025 All-MLB First Team

Four Box-Toppers points leaders are among players selected for 2025’s 16-member “All-MLB” Team. Five other Box-Toppers leaders are among the “All-MLB” Second Team.

The All-MLB team is selected with half the vote coming from fans and half coming from an expert panel. Unlike the selections for baseball’s All-Star Game, players are chosen not based on their affiliation with the American League or National League. Instead, players are selected from all Major League Baseball teams, regardless of league affiliation, and are designated as “First Team” or “Second Team.”

Dodgers’ Snell, Mariners’ Polanco top players in Monday’s LCS postseason games

Dodgers pitcher Blake Snell and Jorge Polanco of the Mariners are Box-Toppers Player of the Game winners in Monday’s league championship series games.

Snell becomes the first player to win Player of the Game honors three times this postseason and Polanco becomes the third player—and first batter—to win Player of the Game honors at least twice this postseason.

Rangers’ deGrom tops players for Monday, April 17, rising to 1st in player rankings

Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom is Monday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, rising to first place in season player rankings.

deGrom struck out five over four scoreless and hitless innings, allowing one one walk, in the 4-0 win over the Royals. deGrom did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because he exited before pitching the required five innings to earn the win.
