Tigers lead
Tigers players have accumulated 89.7 Box-Toppers points this season, picking up 2.0 in the past week. They lead over the second-place Padres (88.0 points) and lead American League teams over the second-ranked Texas Rangers (87.5 points, picking up 4.0 in the past week, rising from fourth to third overall).
This is the seventh week this season the Tigers have led team rankings. They have led six of the last nine weeks and five of the last seven weeks.
The Tigers have baseball’s sixth-best winning percentage (.569), behind the Milwaukee Brewers (.614), the Toronto Blue Jays (.586),the Chicago Cubs (.579), the Los Angeles Dodgers (.574) and the Philadelphia Phillies (.570). Padres lead NL teams
Padres players have accumulated 88.0 Box-Toppers points in 2025, picking up 4.0 in the past week, rising from third last week to second place overall this week.
They lead NL teams ahead of the second-place Philadelphia Phillies (86.1 points, picking up 5.5 points in the past week, rising from sixth to fifth place overall).
The Padres have the fifth-best winning percentage (.557) among NL teams and are in second place in the NL West division, two games behind the Dodgers (.574).

The Brewers gained 7.2 points by winning all six of its games this week:

1.7 points on Aug. 2 by starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff for winning NL Player of the Day.
1.0 point on Aug. 3 by relief pitcher Aaron Ashby for winning Player of the Game.
1.0 point on Aug. 4 by starting pitcher Quinn Priester for winning Player of the Game.
1.0 point on Aug. 5 by starting pitcher Freddy Peralta for winning Player of the Game.
1.5 points on Aug. 6 by centerfielder Blake Perkins for winning NL Batter of the Day.
Biggest fall: Yankees
The New York Yankees had the biggest decline in team rankings, falling five spots from second to seventh place with 85.3 Box-Toppers points, with a net gain of 0.5 points.
Last place: Rockies
The Colorado Rockies remain in 30th and last place for the 16th straight week with 32.3 Box-Toppers points, picking up 2.5 points in the past week.
