Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom is Wednesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, extending his lead in season player rankings.

deGrom struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing two runs, four hits and no walks, in the 4-3, eight-inning win over the Brewers. deGrom did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the game was tied when he exited.

deGrom earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 16.7 for the season, extending his lead in season player rankings ahead of second-place player, Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler (14.1).
