Yankees pitcher Luis Severino maintains his lead in Box-Toppers season player rankings.
Severino has 16.7 Box-Toppers points at the All-Star break through the game of July 15. He picked up no points since the last player rankings report July 5 and continues his lead over second-place player, Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer (16.4 points).

Meanwhile, the Arizona Diamondbacks regain a slim lead among National League teams and the Boston Red Sox are the hottest team since July 5.

In addition Thursday, Box-Toppers’ two top-ranked players for 2018 started Thursday but neither earned Player of the Game honors in their teams’ wins. Neither top-ranked Luis Severino of the Yankees nor second-ranked Max Scherzer of the Nationals were top players in their games.
