Schlittler rises to third place overall while Cease drops from third to fourth, despite earning top player honors Sunday. Other Player of the Game winners Sunday include Red Sox pitcher Payton Tolle, Lawrence Butler of the Athletics, Cardinals pitcher Michael McGreevy and J.T. Realmuto of the Phillies.

Player of the Day: Cam Schlittler, Yankees

Schlittler struck out eight over six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks, in the 2-0 win over the Mets. The only hit he allowed was a two-out double to Brett Baty in the fifth inning.

He earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 21.7 for the season, rising from fourth to third overall, behind Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski (23.1) and Phillies pitcher Jesús Luzardo (23.0). He takes the lead among AL pitchers, ahead of Dylan Cease of the Blue Jays (21.4).

He becomes the fourth player this season to reach 20 Box-Toppers points, marking his first career 20-point season after earning 7.4 points in his 2025 rookie campaign. This marks the most MLB players to reach 20 points in a season since 2022 (five).

NL Player of the Day: Michael McGreevy, Cardinals

McGreevy struck out six over six innings, allowing one run, three hits and three walks, in the 3-1 win over the White Sox.

McGreevy earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 6.7 for the season, 39th among National League pitchers.

Butler hit two home runs and went 2-for-4, scoring twice and driving in four runs, in the 8-7 win over the Mariners.

Realmuto homered, doubled and went 3-for-5, scoring twice and driving in three runs, in the 9-4 win over the Braves.
