Also Friday, Rays pitcher Shane Baz rises to 10th place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors. Other Player of the Game winners Friday include Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, Byron Buxton of the Twins and Eli White of the Braves.

Other Player of the Game winners Monday include Dodgers pitcher Dustin May, Cardinals pitcher Sonny Gray, Tyler Fitzgerald of the Giants and Yankees pitcher Carlos Carrasco.

Gausman struck out 11 over six innings, allowing one run, three hits and no walks, in the 6-2 win over the Rockies. Gausman did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the Rockies tied the game after he exited.
