Athletics pitcher Jacob Lopez is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Tuesday, Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodón rises to ninth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Other Player of the Game winners Tuesday include Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta, Vinnie Pasquantino of the Royals and Blue Jays pitcher José Berríos.

Player of the Day

Lopez struck out nine over seven scoreless innings, allowing four hits and no walks, in the 6-0 win over the Rays.

Lopez earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 10.4 for the season, 20th among all players and 12th among American League pitchers.

Lopez is one of three players Tuesday to reach 10 Box-Toppers points for the season and is the 19th player to reach that milestone in 2025. This is his first season to reach 10 Box-Toppers points and it is also his rookie season and his first season earning points.

National League Player of the Day is Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta.

National League Player of the Day

Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta struck out seven over six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and one walk, in the 14-0 win over the Pirates.

Peralta earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being NL Player of the Day, giving him 10.7 for the season, 13th among all players and seventh among NL pitchers.

Peralta is one of three players Tuesday to reach 10 Box-Toppers points for the season and is the 20th player to reach that milestone in 2025. This is his fourth season with 10 or more Box-Toppers points and his third in a row. His best season was 2023 with the Brewers when he had 17.7 Box-Toppers points, sixth overall and third among NL pitchers. In 2024, he had 13.4 points with the Brewers, seventh among NL pitchers.

American League Batter of the Day is Vinnie Pasquantino of the Royals.

American League Batter of the Day

Vinnie Pasquantino of the Royals hit a three-run home run, doubled, hit a sacrifice fly and went 2-for-3, scoring once and driving in five runs, in the 8-5 win over the Nationals.

Pasquantino earns 1.5 Box-Toppers points for being AL Batter of the Day, giving him 5.7 for the season, 15th among AL batters.

National League Batter of the Day

There is no NL Batter of the Day for Tuesday because no NL batter won Player of the Game honors in the 15 games completed.
