Also Saturday, Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga rises to fourth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Player of the Day

Lodolo struck out 10 over 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk, in the 5-0 win over the White Sox.

Lodolo earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and ranks 37th among all players.

American League Player of the Day

Twins pitcher Joe Ryan struck out 12 over six innings, allowing three runs (one earned), six hits and one walk, in the 11-5, 12-inning win over the Tigers. Ryan did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because he exited with the Twins trailing.

Ryan earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being AL Player of the Day, giving him 2.7 for the season, 15th among all players, eighth among AL pitchers.

Imanaga (5.1IP 5H R 0ER 2BB 4K W in the 4-1 win over the Mariners) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 3.7 for the season. He ranks second among NL pitchers, behind overall leader Freddy Peralta of the Brewers (4.0 points).
