Marlins pitcher Sandy Alcantara is Thursday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Alcantara struck out nine over six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and three walks, in the 6-0 win over the Phillies.

Alcantara earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and is 107th in season player rankings, 37th among National League pitchers.

Arozarena has 3.0 Box-Toppers points for the season, all earned Wednesday and Thursday, sixth among AL batters.
