Phillies pitcher Jesús Luzardo moved within 0.4 points of the overall lead after winning Player of the Game honors Tuesday, while Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo jumped into 10th place in overall season rankings.

Other Player of the Game winners Tuesday include White Sox pitcher Sean Burke, Marlins pitcher Tyler Phillips, Thomas Saggese of the Cardinals and Brandon Nimmo of the Rangers.

Player of the Day: Gavin Williams, Guardians

Williams struck out 13 over seven innings, allowing one run (none earned), two hits and one walk, in the 6-1 win over the Blue Jays.

He earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 15.7 for the season, seventh among all players and third among American League pitchers, behind Dylan Cease of the Blue Jays (19.4) and Cam Schlittler of the Yankees (16.7).

NL Player of the Day: Tyler Phillips, Marlins

Phillips struck out four over five scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks, in the 6-3 win over the Royals.

He earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as National League Player of the Day, giving him 4.7 for the season, 58th among NL pitchers.

NL Batter of the Day: Thomas Saggese, Cardinals

Saggese hit two home runs, a sacrifice fly and went 2-for-3, scoring three times and driving in three runs in the 13-8 win over the Dodgers.

AL Batter of the Day: Brandon Nimmo, Rangers

Nimmo doubled, went 4-for-5 and drove in five runs in the 8-5 win over the Athletics.
