Other Player of the Game winners Sunday include Munetaka Murakami of the White Sox, Bryson Stott of the Phillies, CJ Abrams of the Nationals and Padres closing pitcher Mason Miller.

Player of the Day: Drew Rasmussen, Rays

Rasmussen struck out nine over seven scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk, in the 1-0 win over the Guardians.

He gave up a first-inning double to Steven Kwan—the only hit he allowed—and threw 87 total pitches.

Rasmussen earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 9.0 for the season, 26th among all players and 13th among American League pitchers.

NL Player of the Day: Jacob Misiorowski, Brewers

Misiorowski struck out 12 over five innings, allowing one run, one hit and no walks, in the 11-2 win over the Rockies.

Misiorowski earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as National League Player of the Day, giving him 17.7 for the season, rising from second place to regain the overall lead, passing Blue Jays pitcher Dylan Cease (16.4 points), who only held the lead for one day after passing Misiorowski on Saturday.

Misiorowski also extends his lead among NL pitchers over second-place Cristopher Sánchez of the Phillies (14.7 points).

Both Misiorowski and Rasmussen posted a day-high +14.0 Box-Toppers game score Sunday. But Rasmussen earned overall Player of the Day on a tiebreaker by pitching more innings (seven vs. five).

Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski reclaimed the lead in overall season player rankings.

AL Batter of the Day: Munetaka Murakami, White Sox

Murakami hit two home runs and went 3-for-5, scoring three times and driving in six runs, in the 12-3 win over the Astros.

Murakami earns 1.5 Box-Toppers points as AL Batter of the Day, giving him 6.0 for the season, fifth among AL batters.

NL Batter of the Day: Bryson Stott, Phillies

Stott homered, doubled and went 3-for-4, scoring once and driving in five runs, in the 11-4 win over the Yankees.

Soriano rises to 10th place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors Sunday (5IP 3H R 0ER 3BB 5K W in the 4-3 win over the Giants).

Soriano earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 11.7 for the season, ranking fourth among AL pitchers.

Abrams earns Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors for a second straight day Sunday (2HR 3-5 2R 3BI in the 10-7 win over the Diamondbacks). He was also Player of the Game in Saturday’s 5-3 win over the Diamondbacks (HR 2B 3-4 R 3BI).

He earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point each day, giving him 7.0 for the season, fifth among NL batters.

Miller becomes the 18th player to reach 10 Box-Toppers points in 2026 after earning Player of the Game honors Sunday (1IP 0H 0R 0BB K Sv in the 5-3 win over the Marlins).

Miller earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 10.0 for the season, 17th among all players, ninth among NL pitchers and first among NL closing pitchers, ahead of second-place Paul Sewald of the Diamondbacks (6.0 points).

This is Miller’s first season with 10 or more points. His previous high was 7.0 in 2025 with the Athletics and Padres, finishing the season 38th among NL pitchers and second among NL closing pitchers.

Mason Miller, Padres, becomes the 18th player to reach 10 Box-Toppers points in 2026 after earning Player of the Game honors Sunday.
