Player of the Day: Bryan Woo, Mariners
Woo struck out nine over seven scoreless innings, allowing three hits and one walk, in the 3-0 win over the Orioles.
Woo earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 10.4 for the season, rising to fourth among all players and first place among American League pitchers, passing previous leader José Soriano of the Angels (9.7 points).
Woo becomes the sixth player to reach 10 Box-Toppers points in 2026. It is his third straight season with 10 or more points. His best season was 2025 with the Mariners when he had 18.0 points, fifth overall and third among AL pitchers.
NL Player of the Day: Juan Soto, Mets
Soto hit two home runs and went 2-for-4, scoring twice and driving in two runs, in the 6-4 win over the Phillies.
Soto earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as National League Player of the Day, giving him 3.2 for the season, 23rd among NL batters.
Soto was the only NL player to earn Player of the Game honors in the eight games completed Thursday.
AL Batter of the Day: Bobby Witt Jr., Royals
Witt homered and went 2-for-2, scoring twice and driving in two runs, in the 14-6 win over the Cardinals.
