Mariners pitcher Logan Gilbert is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Tuesday, Blue Jays pitcher Dylan Cease entered the top 10 of Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Other top players Tuesday include Dodgers pitcher Justin Wrobleski, Bryan Reynolds of the Pirates, Nasim Nuñez of the Nationals and Kody Clemens of the Twins.

Player of the Day: Logan Gilbert, Mariners

Gilbert struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing one run, two hits and one walk, in the 3-1 win over the Orioles.

Gilbert earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 7.0 for the season, 19th among all players and ninth among American League pitchers.

NL Player of the Day: Justin Wrobleski, Dodgers.

Rankings: Dylan Cease, Blue Jays

Cease rises to 10th place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors Tuesday.

Cease (5IP 4H 0R 4BB 7K W in the 6-1 win over the Red Sox) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 9.4 for the season. He ranks fifth among AL pitchers.

His rise to 10th place pushes Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes (9.0 points) from the top 10 list, moving him to 11th overall. Skenes led all players from May 12 to May 20, but has not earned Player of the Game honors since May 12, starting in six straight Pirates’ losses, despite his own generally good pitching performances. Twice in those six losses, Skenes posted the highest Box-Toppers game score of the day among players who did not win Player of the Game honors—May 28 and June 14
