Player of the Day: Taj Bradley, Twins

Bradley struck out 10 over 6 1/3 innings, allowing one run, six hits and no walks, in the 4-2 win over the Tigers.

Bradley earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 4.7 for the season, rising from sixth to first place in season player rankings, passing previous leader, Yankees pitcher Max Fried (4.0), who falls to second place.

This is Bradley’s third Player of the Game honor in his third start of the 2026 season. He also did it March 28 and April 2 (when he was American League Player of the Day). He earned 6.0 points in 2025 with the Rays, before being traded to the Twins at the trade deadline. His 6.0 points in 2025 were 51st among AL pitchers.

NL Player of the Day: Robbie Ray, Giants

Ray struck out seven over 6 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and three walks, in the 6-0 win over the Phillies.

Ray earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being National League Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and is 27th in season player rankings, 13th among NL pitchers.

NL Player of the Day: Robbie Ray, Giants.

AL Batter of the Day: Amed Rosario, Yankees

Rosario hit two home runs, including a three-run homer, in the 5-3 win over the Athletics. Rosario went 2-for-4, scoring twice and driving in four runs.

With his first Player of the Game honor of 2026, Rosario has now earned Box-Toppers points in 10 consecutive seasons. Rosario earned his first Box-Toppers points in 2017 with the Mets and now has 24.0 career Box-Toppers points, third among active AL second basemen. His best season was 2022 with the Guardians when he had 6.0 points, third among AL shortstops. He earned 1.0 point in 2025 with the Nationals and Yankees and has extended his streak with just 1.0 point in two other seasons—2018 and 2020, both with the Mets.

AL Batter of the Day: Amed Rosario, Yankees.

NL Batter of the Day: Dane Myers, Reds

Myers won Player of the Game honors despite having no plate appearances; he scored a run as a 10th-inning pinch-runner. On a day in which pitchers won Player of the Game honors in 12 of 15 games, he was the only NL batter to win top player honors. Myers (0-0 R BI) recorded a +1.0 Box-Toppers game score.

NL Batter of the Day: Dane Myers, Reds.
