Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler and Mariners pitchers Bryan Woo and Logan Gilbert are Box-Toppers’ most worthy but unchosen players for the 2026 All-Star Game.
Joining them as key All-Star snubs are Guardians pitcher Gavin Williams, Dansby Swanson of the Cubs, Jake McCarthy of the Rockies, Sal Stewart of the Reds and Michael Harris II of the Braves.

Julio Rodriguez of the Mariners, Box-Toppers’ choice for 2022 American League Rookie of the Year, was also voted winner of the honor by baseball writers Monday.
But Michael Harris II of the Braves, who won the National League Rookie of the Year honor, was not among Box-Toppers’ top three choices for top NL rookie. Braves pitcher Spencer Strider, Box-Toppers’ choice for top NL rookie, finished second in voting.

Also Saturday, two other players rise in Box-Toppers season player rankings top 10 list—Padres pitcher Joe Musgrove rises to second place and Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff rises to ninth.
