Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo is Sunday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, rising to sixth place in season player rankings.

Other Player of the Game winners Sunday include Red Sox pitcher Payton Tolle, Cardinals pitcher Cooper Hjerpe, Jake Burger of the Rangers, Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Braves, Padres closing pitcher Mason Miller and Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.

Woo struck out nine over eight scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks, in the 2-0 win over the Athletics.

The only hit Woo gave up was a fourth-inning, lead-off single to Henry Bolte.

Woo earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 16.4 for the season, rising to sixth among all players and third among American League pitchers, behind Dylan Cease of the Blue Jays (20.4 points) and Cam Schlittler of the Yankees (18.7).

Payton Tolle, Red Sox

Tolle becomes the 29th player to reach 10 Box-Toppers points in 2026 after earning Player of the Game honors in the 3-1 win over the Orioles (6IP 4H R 0BB 12K W).

He earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 10.7 for the season, 27th overall and 12th among AL pitchers.

This is Tolle’s first season earning Box-Toppers points. He ranks second among all rookies in 2026 Box-Toppers points, behind Sal Stewart of the Reds (13.0). He ranks first among AL rookies, ahead of second-place, Guardians pitcher Parker Messick (9.7).
