Meanwhile, the St. Louis Cardinals posted the week's biggest points gain.
Dodgers lead overall
The Dodgers lead all teams with 112.6 Box-Toppers points, gaining 5.5 points over the past week. The Dodgers have led 12 of the past 13 reports and 17 of the past 19. They have led National League teams in 19 of the 20 total reports this season.
The Dodgers are 3.9 points ahead of the second-place Milwaukee Brewers (108.7), who gained 5.4 points this week. The Dodgers have baseball’s second-best winning percentage (.602) behind the Brewers (.617).
The Dodgers are led by Shohei Ohtani with 15.7 Box-Toppers points (7.0 as a batter and 8.7 as a pitcher). He ranks seventh overall, first among NL batters and fifth among NL pitchers. Other key Dodgers players include pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12.4 points, eighth among NL pitchers) and Andy Pages (5.7 points, 20th among NL batters). Yankees lead AL teams
The Yankees regain the top spot in the AL just one week after the Tampa Bay Rays snapped New York’s 16-week run atop the league.
The Yankees have 93.0 Box-Toppers points, gaining 4.0 in the past week, holding steady in fourth place overall. The Rays have 91.3 points, gaining 2.0 in the past week, falling from third to fifth place overall.
The Yankees still rank second among AL teams in winning percentage (.567) behind the Rays (.598). The Rays lead the AL East, four games ahead of the Yankees.
New York is led by pitcher Cam Schlittler (15.7 points, sixth overall and second among AL pitchers). Top batter is Jazz Chisholm Jr. (5.5 points, 10th among AL batters). Twenty-six Yankees players have earned Box-Toppers points so far in 2026.
Biggest gain: St. Louis Cardinals
St. Louis posted the biggest gain this week, adding 6.2 Box-Toppers points and jumping two spots from 22nd to 20th place (65.8 points). The Cardinals won five of their eight games this week.
Other gainers: Phillies, White Sox
The Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago White Sox also jumped two spots this week, tied with the Cardinals for the biggest positive movement in rankings.
The Phillies moved from fifth to third place with 94.0 points, picking up 5.0 this week.
The White Sox moved from 13th to 11th place with 84.1 points, picking up 4.7 this week.
Biggest drop: Rays, Red Sox
The Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox both dropped two spots, tied for the biggest fall in rankings among all teams:
The Rays fall from third to fifth place with 91.3 points, picking up 2.0 in the past week.
The Red Sox fall from 10th to 12th place with 83.0 points, picking up 3.0 in the past week.
Last place: San Francisco Giants
The Giants fall from 29th to 30th and last place with 44.7 points, picking up 2.0 in the past week. Last week’s lowest-ranked team, the Los Angeles Angels, rise to 29th place with 46.9 points, picking up 5.5 in the past week.
