The Los Angeles Dodgers expand their lead in Box-Toppers team rankings this week, while the Tampa Bay Rays pass the New York Yankees for the lead among American League teams.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Twins have the biggest point gains among all teams this week.
Dodgers lead overall
The Dodgers lead all teams for the third straight week with 107.1 Box-Toppers points, gaining 6.5 points over the past week. The Dodgers won four of their seven games this week, earning 5.0 points and also signed catcher Chadwick Tromp, who earned 1.5 points earlier this season with the Braves.
The Dodgers have led 11 of the past 12 reports and 16 of the past 18. They have led National League teams in 18 of the 19 total reports this season.
The Dodgers are 3.8 points ahead of the second-place Milwaukee Brewers (103.3), who gained 3.0 points this week.
The Dodgers have baseball’s fourth-best winning percentage (.598) behind the Tampa Bay Rays (.617), the Milwaukee Brewers (.615) and the Atlanta Braves (.603). The Rays rank third overall with 89.3 points, the Brewers are second with 103.3 and the Braves are seventh with 86.6.
The Dodgers are led by Shohei Ohtani with 13.7 Box-Toppers points (5.0 as a batter and 8.7 as a pitcher). He ranks seventh overall, first among NL batters and fifth among NL pitchers. Other key Dodgers players include pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (11.4 points, eighth among NL pitchers) and Andy Pages (5.7 points, 19th among NL batters). Twenty-six Dodgers have earned Box-Toppers points so far in 2026.
Rays lead AL teams
The Rays pass the Yankees, who led for 16 straight weeks. The Rays have 89.3 Box-Toppers points, gaining 7.0 in the past week, and rank third overall, making a four-spot jump from seventh place last week. The Yankees fall to second among AL teams with 89.0 points, just 0.3 behind, gaining 4.5 in the past week, and hold steady in fourth place overall.
Tampa Bay has the best winning percentage among all teams (.617) and are led by pitcher Drew Rasmussen (12.0 points, 13th overall and seventh among AL pitchers). Rays top batter is Yandy Díaz (6.5 points, seventh among AL batters). Twenty-six Rays players have earned Box-Toppers points so far in 2026.
Biggest gain: Minnesota Twins
Minnesota posted the biggest gain this week, adding 9.9 Box-Toppers points and jumping four spots from 16th to 12th place (79.6 points). The Twins won three of their six games this week and also signed two players who’ve earned Box-Toppers points this season—starting pitcher Germán Márquez (who earned 4.4 points with the Padres before being released) and relief pitcher Cody Laweryson (who earned 1.0 point with the Twins before being released and re-signed).
Biggest drop: Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates fell four spots from 11th to 15th place with 76.0 Box-Toppers points, picking up 2.0 in the past week.
Last place: Los Angeles Angels
The Angels remain in 30th place for the second week with 41.4 points, picking up 4.7 points in the past week.
