Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon Pfaadt is Friday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Pfaadt struck out seven over seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks, in the 2-0 win over the Braves.

AL Player of the Day: Jac Caglianone, Royals

Caglianone homered and went 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in five runs, in the 7-6 win over the Angels.

He earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as American League Player of the Day, giving him 5.2 for the season, 114th among all players and 12th among AL batters.

  • Mets pitcher Robert Stock (4.1IP 3H R 0ER 3BB 5K ND in the 4-1 win over the Nationals) made his Major League debut June 24, 2018, and was playing in his 60th career game.

  • Rafael Flores Jr. of the Pirates (HR 3-4 R 2BI in the 8-4 win over the Red Sox) made his Major League debut Sept. 17, 2025, and was playing in his 21st career game. It was the second straight day Flores ranked among his team’s top players in a win. On Thursday, he had the highest Box-Toppers game score (+5.0) among all Major League non-Player of the Game winners in the 13-1 win over the Marlins (2HR 2-5 2R 6BI). Teammate Braxton Ashcraft won Player of the Game honors.
