Royals pitcher Noah Cameron is Sunday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Two players moved up in the Box-Toppers top 10 season rankings after earning Player of the Game honors Sunday:
Yankees pitcher Cam Schlittler rises to sixth place.
Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom rises to ninth place.
Other top Sunday players include Sebastián Rivero of the Angels, Marlins pitcher Sandy Alcantara and Carson Benge of the Mets.
Player of the Day: Noah Cameron, Royals
Cameron struck out seven over six innings, allowing one run (none earned), three hits and no walks, in the 6-5 win over the Twins.
Cameron earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for Player of the Day, his first points of the season in his 12th start. He now ranks 191st overall and 59th among American League pitchers.
NL Player of the Day: Sandy Alcantara, Marlins
Alcantara struck out seven over seven innings, allowing one run, five hits and one walk, in the 10-0 win over the Guardians.
Alcantara earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as National League Player of the Day, giving him 5.7 for the season, 16th among NL pitchers.
AL Batter of the Day: Sebastián Rivero, Angels
Rivero doubled and went 5-for-5, scoring once and driving in six runs, in the 13-5 win over the Dodgers.
This was Rivero’s Box-Toppers debut, his first career Player of the Game honor. Rivero made his Major League debut May 8, 2021, and was playing in his 68th career game.
NL Batter of the Day: Carson Benge, Mets
Benge homered, tripled and went 5-for-5, scoring three times and driving in two runs, in the 7-3 win over the Padres.

Schlittler (5.2IP 4H R BB 5K ND in the 6-1 win over the Red Sox) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 9.7 for the season. He ranks second among AL pitchers behind Gavin Williams (9.7 points), who holds the tiebreaker based on higher 2025 points (11.7 vs. 7.4).
Rankings: Jacob deGrom, Rangers
deGrom rises to ninth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors Sunday.
deGrom (6IP 3H 0R 2BB 6K W in the 10-0 win over the Guardians) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 8.7 for the season. He ranks third among AL pitchers, behind Gavin Williams of the Guardians and Cam Schlittler of the Yankees, who both have 9.7 points.
deGrom also now has 159.9 career Box-Toppers points, rising to 21st place among all players since Box-Toppers tracking began in 1995. With Sunday’s win, he passes Miguel Cabrera (159.4) on the “all-time” career points list. He now trails 20th-ranked John Smoltz (160.9 points). (Smoltz began his career in 1988, before the 1995 advent of Box-Toppers. If his entire career were tracked, he would have an estimated 255 career points.)
deGrom ranks fifth among active, signed players in career points, fourth among active AL pitchers.

Kevin McGonigle of the Tigers (HR 2-4 R 3BI in the 5-4 win over the Mariners) made his Major League debut March 26 and was playing in his 63rd career game.
Giants closing pitcher Dylan Smith (1IP 0H 0R 0BB K Sv in the 2-1, 10-inning win over the Cubs) made his Major League debut June 2, 2025, and was playing in his 10th career game.
