Giants pitcher Logan Webb is Saturday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Webb struck out six over seven scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks, in the 5-0 win over the Braves.

After giving up a second-inning double and walk, Webb retired the final 15 Braves batters he faced.

Webb earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 5.0 for the season, 53rd among all players and 23rd among National League pitchers.

AL Player of the Day: Michael Grove, Rays.

AL Player of the Day: Michael Grove, Rays

Grove struck out four over three scoreless middle relief innings, allowing one hit and no walks, in the 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Grove earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as American League Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and ranks 97th among AL pitchers, 20th among AL middle relievers.

Grove and two other AL pitchers who won Player of the Game honors Saturday recorded +6.0 Box-Toppers game scores, but Grove prevailed as AL Player of the Day on tiebreakers:
