Player of the Day: Jacob Misiorowski, Brewers

Misiorowski struck out eight over seven scoreless innings, allowing three hits and no walks, in the 2-0 win over the Astros.

Misiorowski earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 10.0 for the season, rising from 10th to third place in season player rankings, behind Phillies pitcher Cristopher Sánchez (10.7 points) and Pirates pitcher Braxton Ashcraft (10.4 points). He also ranks third among National League pitchers behind Sánchez and Ashcraft.

This is Misiorowski’s first season with 10.0 or more Box-Toppers points. He earned 6.0 points in his 2025 rookie season, 50th among NL pitchers.

AL Player of the Day: Jack Leiter, Rangers

Leiter struck out 10 over 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks, in the 6-3 win over the Royals.

NL Batter of the Day: Bryce Eldridge, Giants.

Eldridge hit a home run, two doubles and went 4-for-6, scoring four times and driving in one run, in the 19-6 win over the Rockies.

This was Eldridge’s Box-Toppers debut, his first career Player of the Game honor. Eldridge made his Major League debut Sept. 15, 2025, and was playing in his 28th career game.
