AL Player of the Day: Jack Leiter, Rangers
Leiter struck out 10 over 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks, in the 6-3 win over the Royals.
Leiter earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points as American League Player of the Day, giving him 3.7 for the season, 26th among AL pitchers.
AL Batter of the Day: Colton Cowser, Orioles
Cowser hit a three-run home run and went 2-for-3, scoring twice and driving in four runs, in the 9-5 win over the Blue Jays.
NL Batter of the Day: Bryce Eldridge, Giants
Eldridge hit a home run, two doubles and went 4-for-6, scoring four times and driving in one run, in the 19-6 win over the Rockies.
This was Eldridge’s Box-Toppers debut, his first career Player of the Game honor. Eldridge made his Major League debut Sept. 15, 2025, and was playing in his 28th career game.
