Diamondbacks pitcher Michael Soroka is Monday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Other Player of the Game winners Monday include Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr., Mariners pitcher Luis Castillo, Miguel Vargas of the White Sox and Braxton Fulford of the Rockies.

Player of the Day: Michael Soroka, Diamondbacks

Soroka struck out 10 over six scoreless innings, allowing four hits and one walk, in the 9-6 win over the Tigers.

Soroka earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, his first of the season, and is one of seven players with 2.0 points. He ranks last among them, in eighth place overall, with the fewest 2025 points in the group—he earned 2.0 with the Nationals and Cubs last season.

AL Player of the Day: Lance McCullers Jr., Astros

Castillo has now earned Box-Toppers points in 10 straight seasons after earning his first Player of the Game honor of 2026 on Monday.
