Marlins pitcher Edward Cabrera is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Tuesday, two players rise in Box-Toppers season player rankings top 10 list after both earn Player of the Game honors: Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes rises to third place and Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto rises to eighth place.

Other Player of the Game winners Tuesday include George Springer of the Blue Jays and Carson Kelly of the Cubs.

Player of the Day

Cabrera struck out six over seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk, in the 2-0 win over the Twins.

Cabrera earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 4.7 for the season, 85th among all players and 33rd among National League pitchers.

American League Player of the Day is George Springer of the Blue Jays.

American League Player of the Day

George Springer of the Blue Jays hit two home runs, including a grand slam, in the 12-5 win over the Yankees. Springer went 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in seven runs.

Springer earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being AL Player of the Day, giving him 7.2 for the season, 30th among all players and third among AL batters, behind Riley Greene of the Tigers (7.5 points) and Wilyer Abreu of the Red Sox (7.5 points).

National League Batter of the Day

Carson Kelly of the Cubs hit two doubles, a sacrifice fly and went 2-for-2, driving in three runs, in the 5-2 win over the Guardians.

Kelly earns 1.5 Box-Toppers points for being NL Batter of the Day, giving him 6.0 for the season, sixth among NL batters.

National League Batter of the Day is Carson Kelly of the Cubs.

American League Batter of the Day

There is no separate AL Batter of the Day for Tuesday because the overall AL Player of the Day is batter George Springer.
