Also Sunday, Marlins pitcher Jesus Luzardo rises to fifth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Webb pitched a complete-game, seven-hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking none, in the 1-0 win over the Rockies.
Webb earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 6.0 for the season, 44th among all players and 20th among National League pitchers.
American League Player of the Day
Orioles pitcher Kyle Gibson struck out 11 over seven innings, allowing two runs, three hits and one walk, in the 15-2 win over the Twins.

American League Batter of the Day
Yandy Diaz of the Rays homered, doubled and went 3-for-5, scoring twice and driving in four runs, in the 10-4 win over the Braves.

Yan Gomes of the Cubs hit a pinch-hit single, driving in two, in the 7-4 win over the Yankees.

Marlins pitcher Jesus Luzardo rises from seventh to fifth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors Sunday.
Luzardo (6.1IP 4H 2R BB 9K W in the 7-3 win over the Phillies) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 11.1 for the season. He ranks second among NL pitchers, behind Spencer Strider of the Braves (11.7).
