Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, moving within 1.0 Box-Toppers point of overall leader, Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler, who has led player rankings since mid-May.
Skubal also bolsters his overall second-place ranking and extends his lead among American League pitchers.

Other Player of the Game winners Saturday include Pirates pitcher Andrew Heaney, Phillies pitcher Ranger Suárez, Alex Call of the Nationals and Jarren Duran of the Red Sox.

Also Thursday, White Sox pitcher Dylan Cease becomes the third player this season to reach 20 Box-Toppers points after earning American League Player of the Day honors. Cease maintains his third place spot in Box-Toppers season player rankings.
