Reds pitcher Nick Lodolo is Wednesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Other Player of the Game winners Wednesday include Vinnie Pasquantino of the Royals, Rangers pitcher Patrick Corbin, Rafael Devers of the Giants and Mets pitcher Sean Manaea.

Player of the Day

Lodolo pitched a complete-game, four-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking none, in the 5-0 win over the Nationals.

Lodolo earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 7.7 for the season, 36th among all players and 15th among National League pitchers.

Lodolo recorded a +13.0 Box-Toppers game score, the same as another Wednesday Player of the Game winner, Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow (7IP 3H R BB 12K ND in the 4-3 win over the Twins). But Lodolo beat Glasnow for Player of the Day honors on a tiebreaker because he earned the win in his game while Glasnow picked up a no-decision.

American League Player of the Day

Vinnie Pasquantino of the Royals hit two home runs, doubled and went 3-for-4, scoring three times and driving in four runs, in the 8-4 win over the Cubs.

Pasquantino earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being AL Player of the Day, giving him 4.2 for the season, 19th among AL batters.

American League Player of the Day is Vinnie Pasquantino of the Royals.

National League Batter of the Day

Rafael Devers of the Giants hit two home runs, including a three-run homer, in the 9-3 win over the Braves. Devers went 3-for-5, scoring twice and driving in four runs.

Devers earns 1.5 Box-Toppers points for being NL Batter of the Day, giving him 5.2 for the season, 87th among all players and 13th among NL batters.

This was his first Box-Toppers Player of the Game honor since being traded June 15 from the Red Sox. He earned his other 3.7 points in 2025 with Boston.

National League Batter of the Day is Rafael Devers of the Giants.

American League Batter of the Day

There is no separate AL Batter of the Day for Wednesday because the overall AL Player of the Day is batter Vinnie Pasquantino.

Rangers pitcher Patrick Corbin now has 101.4 career Box-Toppers points, 87th-most since tracking began in 1995.
