Rodón earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 8.7 for the season, rising from eighth to third place overall behind Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler (11.1 points) and Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (9.0 points). Rodón also rises to first place among AL pitchers, passing previous leader Tarik Skubal of the Tigers (8.0 points), who falls to second place.
National League Player of the Day
Ranger Suárez of the Phillies (6IP 4H 0R 3BB 8K W in the 2-0 win over the Braves) earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points, giving him 3.7 for the season, 24th among NL pitchers.
American League Batter of the Day

National League Batter of the Day

Yelich rises to lead NL batters
Christian Yelich of the Brewers rises to first place among NL batters after earning Player of the Game honors Tuesday.
Yelich (GS 2B 2-5 2R 4BI in the 5-1, 10-inning win over the Red Sox) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 6.7 for the season. He ranks 11th overall and first among NL batters, passing previous leader Seiya Suzuki of the Cubs (6.5 points), who falls to second place.
Debut
Two players made their Box-Toppers debut Tuesday, each with their first career Player of the Game honor:
Mariners pitcher Logan Evans (8IP 4H R BB 4K W in the 9-1 win over the Nationals) made his Major League debut April 27 and was playing in his sixth career game.
