Also Monday, Braves pitcher Max Fried rises to eighth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Cole did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the Rays tied the game after he exited. Cole pitched seven no-hit innings before giving up a hit in the eighth inning.

Fried (7IP 5H R 2BB 8K ND in the 2-1 win over the Giants) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 9.0 for the season. He ranks third among NL pitchers, behind Joe Musgrove of the Padres (11.4) and Sandy Alcantara of the Marlins (9.7).

Notable—Padres pitcher Yu Darvish now has 115.3 career Box-Toppers points—55th-most since 1995—after earning Player of the Game honors Monday.
