Teheran struck out 11 over six scoreless and no-hit innings, allowing three walks, in the 4-1 win over the Padres. Teheran was pitching a no-hitter when he was pulled after 95 pitches, experiencing cramping. The bullpen gave up seven hits and a run in the final three innings.

Debut—Tigers pitcher Joe Jimenez made his Box-Toppers debut Sunday with his first career Player of the Game honor.
