Wheeler struck out seven over seven innings, allowing one run, two hits and one walk, in the 4-1 win over the Marlins.

American League Player of the Day—Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco pitched a complete-game, three-hitter, allowing one run, two walks and striking out six, in the 5-1 win over the Tigers.
