Since July 30, the Mets have won six games with players earning bonus Box-Toppers points in four of those games, netting 8.7 Box-Toppers points in the past week. In addition, the Mets acquired left fielder Yoenis Cespedes and his 6.7 Box-Toppers points from the Tigers on July 31. (Since the trade, Cespedes has earned NL Batter of the Day honors in a Mets win, giving him 8.2 Box-Toppers points on the season.)
The Philadelphia Phillies remain in 30th and last place among all teams for the eighth straight week. The Phillies have 34.8 Box-Toppers points. Fourteen different Phillies players have earned Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors this season.
